また、「植物と人間の文化が尽きることなく循環する」という豊かな関係性を深く見つめ、創作や研究を重ねてまいりました。

深き海の底に秘められし
夜のような艶やかな輝き
タヒチの風に包まれて
海の神々が微笑むとき

黒き珠が海底の夢を運ぶ
太陽の光を吸い込んで、
その色に心を奪われ
見る者を魅了する

海の女神の涙か、
はたまた、星が落ちた跡か
無数の波が織りなす
神秘の輝き、ブラックパール

その一粒に宿るは
歴史の重み、伝説の息吹
タヒチの砂浜に
小さな宇宙が広がる

The one hidden at the bottom of the deep sea
The glamorous glow of the night
Surrounded by the wind of Tachi no Hi
When the gods of the sea smile

Black pearls carry the dreams of the ocean floor
Breathing in the sun's rays
and its colors captivate
Enchanting all who see it

Are they the tears of the sea goddesses, or are they the marks of fallen stars
Or is it the mark of a fallen star?
Woven by countless waves
Mysterious radiance, the black pearl

Dwelling in that single grain
the weight of history, the breath of legend
On the sandy beach of Tachi
a small universe spreads out

タカプリンシパル／現代アート作家。1974年愛知県出身。1993年渡米。2001年帰国後、TAKA名義でフォトグラファーとして雑誌、広告の撮影を担当。主な仕事にau、DoCoMo、オンワード、サントリー等の広告、雑誌は『Cut』（ロッキング・オン）、『SWITCH』（スイッチ・パブリッシング）、『 WWD』（INFASパブリケーションズ）など。また〈Cosme Kitchen〉等のクリエイティブディレクターを務める。コマーシャルフォトと並行して写真家として東京、ニューヨーク、ロンドン、香港など国内外で作品を発表。2013年拠点を香港に移す。2024年、TAKAPRINCIPALとして現代アートの作家活動を開始。
